HCPA Board Candidates
  • NOW RECRUITING BOARD MEMBER CANDIDATES!
    Hmong College Prep Academy is inviting HCPA parents, community and teacher members with a passion for making a positive impact to consider open positions on the school board. Board members play a crucial role in supporting teachers and staff, fostering transparency and accountability, cultivating a secure and excellent school culture, and advancing guidelines that ensure the success of all students. Decisions made by board members have a significant impact on students, parents, staff, and the broader community.
    Open Seats:

    Teacher Seat A: Open to HCPA Teachers 

    • Board experience is preferred but not required; must be Employed to provide at least 720 hours of service under a contract as a licensed teacher with either HCPA or a cooperative association and not serve in an administrative capacity for more than 240 hours in a school year.

    Parent/Community Seat D: Open to HCPA Parents and Community Members

    • Board experience is preferred but not required; however, candidates must have professional
      experience in Higher Education, Entrepreneurship, or Business Ownership

     
    Parent/Community Seat G: Open to HCPA Parents and Community Members
    • Board experience is preferred but not required; however, candidates must have professional
      experience in Higher Education, Entrepreneurship, or Business Ownership

    Voting Options:

    Paper Ballot - Will be mailed home
